Many people seem to thrive on the drama of the division that our political party system provides. But the vast majority of us to not appreciate this drama. There are no advantages for Americans to have a political party system. There is no benefit to this division. During a time when the Democratic Party is thriving and growing and the Republican Party is crumbling, you would think that conservatives would be on board with abolishing the political party system. If we do away with the political party system, extremists would still hold their viewpoints. But the vast majority of this county is not extreme. The vast majority of this country are moderates. Moderates would be served best if they were not defined by political parties. Imagine how efficient our house and our senate could be if they were not at perpetual odds with each other. The non stop friction between parties is counter productive. No more democrats. No more republicans. Just Americans. Career politicians are the ONLY ones who benefit from a two party system.
