Obermiller Construction, established in 1993 by Cheryl Obermiller, is a family-owned construction company, specializing in commercial asphalt and concrete installation and maintenance throughout the Midwest. Our office is located in Harrisonville, Missouri, where we are an active part of the educational and philanthropic community. We are currently accepting applications for concrete finishers and laborers, asphalt pavers, and general construction laborers. Our asphalt paving and concrete flatwork crews and general laborers work in a small-town environment, with big city pay and benefits. Some of our valued employees have been here for over twenty years and have no plans to leave. Requirements: • Construction experience, preferably in asphalt, concrete, seal coat, crack sealing, and/or striping • Physically able to load/unload trucks and lift/move materials • Willing to work outside most of the time • Able to perform daily, physical labor • Mandatory Drug Testing • Able to comply with OSHA and all company safety policies • Willing to adhere to all client requested guidelines and procedures • Willingness to travel during the week; most crews are home for the weekend • Valid driver’s license • Experience operating skid steer and mini excavator desirable • Clean driving record with no alcohol or drug related offenses for the past 3-years • Able to work well with all team members • Punctual • Good work ethic • Ability to pass random drug screening Our benefits for hard-working team members include: • Competitive wages, between $15 - $30 per hour based on qualifications • Paid vacations • Paid sick time • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Retirement plan with company match • Life insurance • Annual performance and salary review
