We’ll be running a Plant and Seed Swap and Giveaway all day!
Join us for a day at the farm! Spring is in the air and it’s a great time to walk around the farm and see what’s growing. We’ll be running a Plant and Seed Swap and Giveaway all day. Feel free to bring your extra plants and seeds to add to the abundance so we can all grow what we need this year. You’re also invited to harvest compost and take some home. As always, the farm and wetland will be open for your own exploration, as is the Children’s Garden and Nature Playground for those much-needed tire swing rides and chicken visits. Community Chef Paula will be making tamales, packaged to go, with plenty to go around.
Morning (10:30am-12:30pm): Reserved for groups with Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) folks.
Afternoon (1:30-4:00pm): Open to anyone who would like to come.
Please sign up accordingly. We look forward to seeing you at Zenger Farm!
Additional Information:Sliding Scale: This event is made possible through our sliding scale or "pay as you can" model. Please pay what you are able to while registering. The suggested scale is $5-$100 per group. Priority will be given to BIPOC and David Douglas School District families for slots at the lower end of the scale. You can read our sliding-scale philosophy and explanation here.
Free Registration: We are offering free registration using the waiver code OFD21 to low-income families. Please use this code only if you need it or if you have a child in a David Douglas school.
Please order one ticket per group.
