Join Skål Beer Hall for a six course pairing dinner as part of our Valhalla Dinner Series! Sound the horns... the Valhalla Dinner Series is back! For this dinner, we welcome our friends from Æsir Meadery & Oppegaard Meadery. They join us on Sunday 5/2 for a six course dinner and mead pairing worthy of the gods! We'll be featuring a wide range of meads from Æsir & Oppegaard. All six courses will include a 3-5oz mead pour. The menu for the evening includes: There will be two sessions at 2p and 6p. The menu for the evening includes: Warm Up: Nordic Canapes paired with Æsir London Fog MeadFrom the Garden: Horiatiki salad paired with Oppegaard Artemis Kiss MeadFrom the Earth: Grilled Celeriac with spiced ricotta paired with Æsir Dry CyserFrom the Sea: Arctic Char with dill whipped parsnip paired with Oppegaard Dodolas ThunderFrom the Pasture: Cardamom BBQ Brisket with poblano cheddar cornbread paired with Sarsaparilla Mead From the Baker: Lemon Poppyseed shortbread with lavender icing paired with Boudicca’s PikaYou'll have the opportunity to hear from and engage with the mead makers as well as our Executive (bearded) Chef, Jon, in an intimate setting. Masks will be required unless sitting at a table eating/drinking.
