Akron Parks Week Schneider Park Tree Planting Are you ready to contribute to increasing Akron's tree canopy? This year's Akron Parks Week will include planting trees at Schneider Park. Grab a group of friends and come to Scheider Park and plant some trees! Planting will take place on May 15. Please register for a shift and select the amount of people who will be joining you. Please note that all groups must have 10 or less people. Come early and participate in an energizing yoga session offered by the City of Akron Recreation and Parks yoga instructors! Yoga will begin at 9:00am and noon.  If you are able, bring a pair of work gloves, a shovel, and garden rake. Extras will be onsite just in case! Don't forget to wear your face covering/mask!
