Our client, a world-renowned cancer treatment and research center is seeking a Stock Clerk. The work schedule will vary, and the candidate must be flexible to work the following shifts: • Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm • Monday – Friday, 12pm – 8pm • Monday – Friday, 4am – 12pm • Possible Saturday and Sunday, 8:30am – 4:30pm This is a long-term temporary position with potential to convert to a perm job. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour with a 10% pay differential for overnight and weekend hours. As the Stock Clerk, you will be responsible for inspecting accepting incoming shipments of supplies for General Stores, stocking supplies in designated areas and distributing them according to requests throughout MSK. You Are: • Able to hold yourself and others accountable to accomplish goals and live up to commitments • An effective communicator, able to identifying how to reach different audiences and communicate based on that understanding • Able to utilize a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insights into personal strengths and weaknesses You Will: • Monitor and control the flow of deliveries received from the primary Med/Surg's Supplier and Receiving • Provide appropriate equipment for the unloading of parcels (e.g. pallets, flatbed trucks, etc.) received from Suppliers and Receiving • Check supplies received against the packing slips and the Receiving log book for quantities and specifications by conducting a physical inspection and a physical count of parcels delivered • Communicate any discrepancies (i.e. shortages damaged merchandise) to supervisor/manager so appropriate actions can be taken. • Prioritizes emergency incoming shipments for replenishment of General Stores inventory according to delivery type by placing parcels in designated areas for immediate distribution to requisitioners You Have: • HS Diploma/GED • At least 1 year of experience in Shipping and Receiving • Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, bend and push items
