Sashiko stitching.  This form of embroidery originated in Japan hundreds of years ago.  Used for both embellishment and mending, it has become part of the current slow fashion movement of reuse and recycle.   Let Jo Cohen show you the way to Sashiko!  You will learn about the traditional patterns, and practice this sewing technique. You may purchase all supplies at Nest on Main the day of the workshop. Each attendee will receive a Nest store coupon exclusive to this event.
