Job Summary: The Laborer is responsible for caring for insects that get shipped to customers for the use of reptile feed. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for checking/adding feed and water daily Maintaining the health and well being of colonies Sorting different sizes and weights of insects Maintaining a safe and clean work environment Attention to details and record keeping Responsible for meeting daily productivity requirements A Typical Work Day May Include: Performing facility operations such as sorting sizes, maintaining correct ratios and weights, cleaning totes, organizing colonies, packaging orders, preparing shipping supplies, provide feed and water to colonies. Cleaning of facility Other duties as assigned Working Conditions: Using hands to touch individual insects (gloves are provided) Be able to lift 50 lbs (colonies and feed sacks) Ability to work in a warehouse environment where warmer temperatures are maintained year round Standing on concrete for long periods of time Dusty environment Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Must be 18 years or older Be able to read, write and simple math Common sense to be able to follow one or two step directions Reliable transportation Highly organized with a strong attention to detail Flexibility to successfully multi-task in a fast paced environment, working with multiple team members Details: Full Time (40 hours a week) Monday through Friday First shift Paid holidays (7 paid per year) Paid vacation (starts accruing on first week) Pay starts at $11.00 per hour with room for advancement Apply: Please either send a resume or fill out and send in a job application from the following link: Thank you for your interest in our position.
