I am looking to give an opportunity to 2 different families with children ages 5-19. I have 2 beautiful colored purebred Netherland Dwarf Rabbits that can either be leased or the families will have the option to keep the animals at the end of the season. These 2 animals are 4-H animals, meaning you must join 4-H and enter our rabbit club. I will attach picture of the 2 rabbits. Contact me before May 15th . . More info about 4-h and the club below. . On that note, the Adirondack Hoppers Rabbit and Cavy 4-H club of Clinton county is looking for new members!! Our clubs is geared towards teaching kids about rabbit and cavies, how to care for their animal, kids will learn to keep records for their animals, will learn about different breeds of rabbits and cavies, how compete in showmanship, and agility, they will get opportunities to participate in events, and showing at the fair. We focus on having fun while learning. Our club will meet 1-3 times a months to discuss new topics and work on getting ready for the fair. We also have a private Facebook group that all 4-H members are welcome to join that is fun and educational for the youth. We plan on having a workshop for all 4-H members in May, this will be open to all counties. The focus of the workshop will be Rabbit/Cavy Hopping and Agility. Youth will be allowed to bring their animals and participate. We will have a course set up for them to try their luck at! This event will more then likely be on the Clinton county fair grounds in the 4-H barn but this is still pending. Mask will be required.
