City of Star Police is hosting a Fishing Rodeo, Free for all ages. Kids 12 and under will compete for prizes throughout the event. The event is held at the ponds located behind the Star Riverhouse (960 S. Main St., Star, ID 83669). Prizes can be won by kids 12 and under throughout the day. Kids 17 and under and volunteers do not need a fishing license for this event,18 and older must have a valid fishing license.. There will be fishing equipment available if you do not have any, please answer the survey questions so we make sure there is enough equipment. There will be fun games and food available for everyone FREE, please come meet your community and have a good time. All bait will be provided free, but you are more than welcome to bring your special bait.
