The first annual AwesomeBall Tournaments will be held on **Saturday, May 29th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Teams of 4 to 8 people are invited to participate for a trophy in the first annual AwesomeBall Tournament, benefitting the Emma Nugent Memorial Scholarship Fund. **Rain Date is Monday (Memorial Day) May 31st from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. What is AwesomeBall? It’s kind of a combination of basketball and ultimate frisbee. The object of the game is to score more goals than the other team by getting the ball in the trash can. There will be a short tutorial prior to tip-off! The game is played in two timed halves, high score wins. A tie score at the end of regulation will be determined by “golden goal.” Teams play four players at a time, substitutions are allowed. The tournament is double elimination with trophies for the top three teams. Entry fees are $50 per team. Four players are allowed on the field at one time, teams may be up to 8 people to allow for substitutions. Teams and participants are liable for their own participation and safety. Covid precautions will be followed at all times, including mask wearing at all times and social distancing as possible. By registering for this event, participants agree to hold tournament organizers faultless for any injury received as a result of participation.
