Create your own custom seascape epoxy resin board! This class is for any type of artist, beginner to advanced! Class Overview: In this class, you'll discuss different types of resin, as well as how to measure and mix the resin, various ways to color resin including the best way to get lacing in the white waves, and what types of decorative items to put on your "beach." Go in depth about what types of wood work best and what to avoid. Learn how to troubleshoot issues like dust on the surface and what to do if you don't like the way your piece turns out. Learn how to do an optional second coat and add more waves, and more decorations. Workshop Structure and Agenda: 1. Introduction Our instructor Abbie has learned all there is to know about epoxy resin the hard way, so she will share all of her tips and tricks with you so that you can come out on top with the most gorgeous ocean themed art. The fun thing about resin is the outcome is always unique and unpredictable. There’s no way you can screw it up! 2. For the past several years her main art medium has been resin, or epoxy as some people call it. If epoxy is something that you have been searching the internet about, then this class is for you! Together with Abbie you'll create a beautiful Seascape themed functional piece of art! Please Note: - We require at least 4 participants to run the course. In the event we do not reach 4 participants we will reach out to reschedule for the following Saturday or issue a refund, whichever you prefer. - If workshop is sold out and you have a group interested, please contact us directly to coordinate a new date. - Participants must be 18 or older. Or 12 or older if accompanied by an adult. -Snacks and refreshments will be provided by Maketory. - Tickets are nonrefundable (unless class is cancelled) and can not be used for another date. - Maketory is a membership based facility.
