Organized by the Scottish Society of Charleston, this event brings in over 8,000 guests and is the second oldest event of its kind in the southeast. Known to be one of the best and friendliest Games in the United States, this year’s Games will bring new levels of excitement and fun to the Lowcountry. We will conclude the evening with a Calling of the Clans, a special event that you won't want to miss! It’s no wonder – after all, the term ‘whisky’ comes from the Gaelic uisge beatha, which translates as the ‘water of life’. And anything called the ‘water of life’ must be worthy of a bit of a celebration, surely? Our Scotch tasting tent will feature top distillers from all over Scotland. You can opt for a ticket which provides entry to a whisky class where you will have the chance to try special and rare malts and go on a remarkable whisky journey, or you can simply purchase tokens and try the whisky of your choice! Drawing visitors from around the country and abroad, the Games brings in over 8,000 guests, immersing visitors in Scottish heritage and history. “Where Scottish History & Heritage Go Hand in Hand” The Scottish people have made a large impact on South Carolina, helping it to become the state it is today. From music and food, to political and scientific contributions, Scottish heritage is something to be celebrated and promoted in modern life.
