Press release from the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce: April 21, 2021 Chairman Tom Byrne of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce announced the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce's Golf Tournament is sold out for the 38th year in a row with 144 players! The Middlesex Chamber's Golf Committee has been busy planning for the Annual Golf Tournament, which brings many opportunities to support Chamber programs. This year's 38th Annual Middlesex Chamber Golf Tournament presented by Liberty Bank will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Lyman Orchards Golf Club. Proceeds from the tournament support many Chamber programs such as the Hal Kaplan Middletown Mentor Program, Youth at Work Program, Substance Abuse Programs, and the Lorraine C. McHugh Scholarship which is given to a graduating senior who attends UConn or one of the four Connecticut State University System schools. Middlesex Chamber President Larry McHugh noted, "I would like to thank everyone for their continued support of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament. Over 38 years, and we are once again sold out! The committee has been working hard to make this event a success, and we look forward to another great day on the course."
