Preface The Meat House is a very fun, fast paced and exciting place to work. That is why we expect all employees, hourly and salaried managers, to have general knowledge of all aspects of the store. This enables us, as a team, to attend to every guest in a timely and friendly manner and to ensure no guest waits too long for the exceptional customer service that we are known for. Having general knowledge of all areas of the store also creates a much better teamwork environment, where no one employee is left on an island to help every guest at his or her station. Teamwork makes the dream work! General Manager The General Manager of The Meat House's new location - Shrewsbury has a multitude of responsibilities. They are not limited to but include: Overall daily operations of the store and to uphold the high standards that The Meat House has. This includes the presentation and quality of all products that come in and out of the store.Fiscally responsible for the profit of the store by maintaining expected profit margins, reduced waste, accurate production schedules, proper staffing, labor costs, and proper ordering procedures.Leadership, Training and Development of team members.Holding team members accountable for the high standards we expect. Superior Quality and Exceptional Customer Service.Putting invoices into the accounting system.Monthly Inventory Counts.Creating a friendly and safe work environment for all team members.Having Proficient knowledge of all departments; Meat, HMR, Deli, Sandwiches and FOH.Management of all Controllable costs and the P&L report.Keep accurate records of all injury reports, HACCP Logs, Daily Checklists, Human Resources Related Issues, Disciplinary Issues and Employee Records.Serve Safe CertifiedHiring and Termination of Employees.Having open Communication with the owner and other superiors on the state of the store.
