Press release from the Darien Chamber of Commerce: April 21, 2021 Darien Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present a weeklong event and promotion, "Darien Wellness Week" from 4/25 to 5/1. Discover the many wellness options you have in Darien during the week of April 25. We will start with a kick-off event on Sunday 4/25 by Darien Running. Calling all runners to participate in this fun run, distances varying from 3 to 26 miles! Come cheer the runners as they cross the finish line at Grove Street Plaza from 9AM-11AM. Lymbr and Performance Optimal Health will be welcoming back the runners with post-run cooldown. Under the big Bluewave Booster Club tent will be the Chamber with Wellness Goody Bags, and NEAT and Green & Tonic with some beverage and food samplings. Offers include free trial classes, discounted memberships, as well as special promotional rates during the week. Help us promote our local businesses through word of mouth! Participate in the hashtag (#DarienWellnessWeek) campaign, and win one of the raffle prizes offered by our participants! Weather permitting, there will be a Wellness Week finale on 5/1 at 2PM by Dance on the DL along with Barvida's sampling at Grove Street Plaza followed by the raffle drawing.
