We’re looking for a dedicated, hands-on, Kitchen Receiver to support our kitchen and food packing operation. Hours: We're hiring for AM and PM shifts, MUST be able to work Tuesday-Saturday Responsibilities: Support Receiving Team and assist with unloading and sortation of produce, meat, etc.; Inspect the quality of goods delivered, and in particular check the quality of food products; Ensure the expected items and their amounts are received. If not, communicate and report any discrepancies on the invoices; Properly store delivered items/supplies away; Palletize products for delivery & break down pallets; Prepare all materials needed for cooler packaging - icepacks, corrugated boxes, insulated liners;Participate in order fulfillment; Help other team members locate and grab ingredients/supplies as necessary;Ensure that all kitchen/warehouse areas are kept clean, neat and well stocked; Properly organize all equipment, inventory cycle counts; Fix and report inventory errors to proper channels; Keep work-spaces free of obstructions, floors clean/dry and be responsible for frequent trash removal; Assist with recycling efforts by ensuring all items are properly sorted in a neat and orderly manner; Help develop methods to reduce supply/item waste; Maintain quality of service by following operational and safety standards; Ensure food is stored and labeled properly Accurately weight and log weight of prepared foods Track and communicate food waste Follow proper cooling procedures, log temperatures in cooling log Organization and maintenance of a "First In-First Out" principle with all ingredients and prepared food Other side tasks as needed by our Culinary & Operations Teams. Skills & Qualities: Previous Receiving/Inventory Control/Quality Control experience; Previous food and beverage experience preferred; Valid Food Handler's CertificateDriven, organized, and detail-oriented team player Highly proficient forklift operation Highly proficient driving a 26’ box truck w/ liftgate Previous food and beverage experience preferred2+ years of supervisory experience Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Able to stand for up to 8 hours at a time Comfortable in walk-in coolers and freezers (temperatures as low as -10°F), not for long periods of time, but frequently in and out. Willing to work holidays as needed Basic computer skills - google suite, spreadsheets, etcExcellent verbal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and with others to promote teamwork Job Type: Full-timePay: From $17.00 per hour We’re also looking for a dedicated, hands-on, Operations Associate to support our kitchen and food packing operation. Hours: We're hiring for AM and PM shifts, MUST be able to work Tuesday-Saturday- 3:00pm-11:30pm shifts, Pick and pack on assembly line Plating food into containers and jars to create beautiful finished products Ensuring food is stored and labelled properly Keep work station clean at all times General housekeeping of work areas to keep all areas clean and up to safety standards Assists with recycling efforts by ensuring all items are properly sorted in a neat and orderly manner Support special tasks by other teams such as Culinary team, as necessary Learn and master our food product code system to manage all your tasks for your role Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the safe operation of equipment and help to maintain a safe, clean work environment Report all product discrepancies or quality issues to Supervisor(s) including damaged product, wrong labels, equipment issues, etc Qualifications: Driven, organized, and detail-oriented team player Previous cold warehouse experience preferred Previous food and beverage experience preferred (Food Handler's Card required) Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbsAble to stand for up to 8 hours at a time Comfortable in fast paced environmentPrevious cold warehouse experience preferred Previous food and beverage experience preferred (Food Handler's Card required) Operates with integrity, professional courage, sound judgement and sense of urgency Excellent verbal communication skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $15.00 per hour
