Building Synergy is a contractor construction company specializing in residential and commercial construction. Looking for an experienced construction worker to join our growing team. Essential Duties: -Installs foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as: wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials. -Builds or repairs cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools. -Fits and installs window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using a carpenter’s level, plumb bob, and laser levels. -Work on ceiling, floor tile and siding -General Labor Duties and Responsibilities: -Unload tools, prepare building site materials, stack building materials, and set up equipment -Follow project instructions from construction manager or supervisor -Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks -Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment -Ensure regulated and proper headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing are worn -Safely operate a variety of tools including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, and blowtorches -Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly Must have experience with: -Framing -Roofing -Knowledge of and experience with building materials -Power tools -Concrete -Electrical Other Qualifications: -At least 1 year experience in residential/commercial construction -Maintain a valid driver’s license -Good math skills for basic functions -Knowledge of local jurisdiction building codes -Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision -Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems Pay and Benefits -$32.00-$40.00 per hour based on experience -Health Insurance Allowance -Paid Time Off, Sick Pay -Birthday’s Off
