Compete against other teams as you race across the Hudson Valley on an epic scavenger hunt!! 100 % of donations benefit Boxes For Soldiers. What is Boxes For Soldiers? Boxes for Soldiers (BFS) is a non for profit organization that collects goods to ship care packages to soldiers deployed overseas. Due to safety measures, deployed soldiers locations are kept confidential, which means most do without any comforts from home.>>>>> BFS found a solution! <<< They found military chaplains to confidentially receive and distribute care packages to our troops. All proceeds from this event will go towards the shipping costs of 400 boxes (roughly $7500). BFS is also seeking donations for the contents of the care packages too . You and as many people your vehicle can safely hold. For any folks looking to ride their motorcycles, bikes, etc., up to 4 bikes can form a team. The donation/cost per team is $100. What is this scavenger hunt about? Every team will be given a list of fun, zany and adventurous missions to complete. Each mission is assigned a point value. The team who has the highest total within the allotted time period wins! Use strategy and finesse to gain the most points. Winner will receive a gift basket of local goods from the Hudson Valley. When? Saturday, May 15th. The scavenger hunt will begin at 9am Sharp! Where? Top Secret...just kidding! Starting location will be in the parking lot of the Orange County Government Center. Why? We say why not! Live in the moment , create priceless memories all while contributing to an amazing cause. Needless to say (but we're saying it) the Hudson Valley is an absolutely stunning area to explore, especially in the Spring! * Release: By participating in the Contest, each participant and winner holds harmless and waives any and all claims of liability or damages against the Contest’s Sponsor and their respective employees and agents, for any personal injury or any loss which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the Contest, or from the award, receipt and/or use or misuse of any prize, including any travel related thereto.
