Today, Austin and Kat has a significant domestic distribution network and over a thousand independent pet specialty retail partners, and we’re focused on adding doors, extending our product line, and being able to help as many pets and people as possible. Role/Position: The warehouse team is the backbone of Austin and Kat and as a warehouse and fulfillment associate, you’ll ensure our customers receive the very best order delivery experience. This means following and maintaining company processes, packaging orders and QA complete work. Day to Day: You will pick and pack products, and follow a QA process for retailer and direct consumer orders You will build pallets orders and follow a QA process for distribution orders ready for corresponding transport and freight You will prepare DTC cards and build shipping boxes in preparation for busier days. Conduct daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts Additional down-time will be allocated towards warehouse support projects, including packaging and sample pack preparation Requirements: Warehouse/order fulfillment and/or customer experience Maintain a collaborative and team environment that promotes high-performance standards An eye for detail ensuring each shipment is beautifully packaged Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment Maintain a clean and safe work environment Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety regulations Operate pallet jack and other warehouse equipment in a professional and safe manner Physical Demands: Work is performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking The ability to repetitively bend, reach, stand, walk and lift 25lb boxes without difficulty Bonus points if you have the following: A love of animals and pets Prior experience with an e-commerce company Previous experience in a warehouse/shipping and receiving department Forklift and pallet jack certified Commercial CGMP, food industry, and/or manufacturing experience strongly preferred Overall, we’re a pretty easy-going bunch that works our tails off and loves what we do.
