Seeking a bassist for an experimental rock band, as our current one wants to move over to guitar. We have twelve completed songs, and are writing additional material as well. Shows are being planned for early this year, and later recording of an LP. Influences: Swans, Damaged/My War/Slip It In-era Black Flag, Neurosis, Tad, Brothers of the Sonic Cloth, Tchkung!, Big Black, Arsenal, Einsturzende Neubauten, Pigface, Laibach, Savage Republic, F-Space, Killing Joke, Saint Vitus, SPK, Cop Shoot Cop, Leadbelly, Prong, Godflesh, Jesu, Jarboe, Head of David and many others. I expect to build upon a naturally evolving sound. We are restructuring our rehearsal times, but it will likely be Friday nights, and have upcoming shows next year. No drugs. www.rendingsinew.com
