FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — A man from Montgomery County is facing a list of charges after Falls Township Police say he drove through a blocked-off accident scene, endangering rescue workers, while DUI and in possession of marijuana.
Mark Gregory Davis, 39, is charged with DUI, five counts of recklessly endangering another person, marijuana possession and reckless driving, among other charges, in the incident Saturday night.
Shortly before midnight, police say the area of Rt. 13 and Tyburn Road was blocked off while emergency crews were responding to a car fire there. With several emergency vehicles blocking the roadway, police say, Davis drove through the scene anyway.
An officer pulled him over and Davis appeared to be under the influence, police say. They say a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in his vehicle.
No one was reported injured after Davis drove through the scene of the fire. A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for June 29.
