DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The number of coronavirus cases in Downers Grove has increased by 61 cases in the past week, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD). This week's increase is less than last week's, which showed a rise of 90 cases. As of April 13, the village had reported 3,906 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 3,967 as of April 13, reflecting a rise of just over 1.5 percent. The previous week's increase was 2.3 percent. DCHD recently began sharing the number of probable coronavirus cases in each municipality. Whereas the graph on DCHD's website includes probable cases, using the site's search bar yields a breakdown of probable and confirmed cases.
