The Position: We’re looking for an experienced Industrial Custodian to join our team in Denver, CO to maintain a safe and sanitary working environment at our wastewater treatment and recycling plant. Responsibilities: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Maintain a safe and sanitary workplace; (indoors and outdoors) including but not limited to the following areas: office area, break room, restrooms, lab, equipment room, all exterior plant grounds • Perform daily tasks as well as targeted and deep cleaning assignments when warranted: sweeping, mopping, dusting, pressure washing, chemical and oil cleanup, etc. • Use industrial cleaning agents and equipment following safety guidelines and procedures • Perform basic building maintenance • Some painting • Move hoses and other objects as needed to ensure adequate cleaning • Understand and adhere to state and federal Occupational Safety and Health rules and regulations as related to plant safety • Follow company safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment Physical Work Environment: • Fluorescent Lighting • Concrete Flooring • Climate is affected by outside conditions including but not limited to extreme heat/cold • Considerable exterior noise Requirements: • Experience cleaning in an industrial operation preferred • Ability to stoop, bend, climb, walk, stand and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly • Comfortable climbing ladders and working at elevations up to 30 Feet • Ability to work with limited supervision and prioritize urgency of various tasks • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Why Should You Apply? • Competitive industry compensation • Excellent comprehensive benefits • Collaborative teams working toward a common goal • Environmentally conscious company We are an equal opportunity employer; committed to equal treatment of all employees without regard to race, national origin, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, veteran status, physical or mental disability or other basis protected by law.
