Associate Facility Manager We are a company that specializes in recreational vehicle storage. We have been serving the Las Vegas area and serving customers from around the globe for 30 years. Job Responsibilities: You will be answering inquiries, and providing information to current and potential customers. Maintaining records, bank deposits, contracts, and documents with accuracy. Typing skill required: 40wpm to answer emails, enter data into contracts into specialized storage industry computer programs. Be able to operate all office equipment such as copiers, scanners, camera monitors, and computers, etc. Have proficiency in email programs, Excel, Outlook, and windows operating programs. Have good comprehension skills to analyze availability of spaces and coordinate move in and move out procedures of customers. Must be able to keep accurate calendars and have good penmanship. Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time inspecting property and have good observation skills to report/log problems on the property and communicate with clients. Be able to lift 35lbs, as you will be providing light maintenance of property with sweeping and emptying small trash bins. Knowledge of the storage industry would be helpful but will train. Keep a safe clean office area by complying with specified procedures, rules and regulations. Must be able to organize file rooms and company storage golf cart sheds. Be able to drive golf cart on property for inspections year round. Monitor security cameras and visitors entering and exiting the facility. Work Hours: Two days per week and vacation relief. Friday/Saturday 9:00 a.m-5:00 p.m. Qualifications: Prefer at least Associates Degree, but could substitute years of experience in sales/office work. Self-storage industry experience and knowledge of lien and auction procedures in Nevada would be a plus. Must have good spelling/grammar skills for composing emails/letters and good penmanship. Must be reliable, punctual, and a self-starter and independent worker with limited supervision. Must have a friendly telephone manner to answer inquiries or interact with current and new clients. Must have a valid driver’s license, a reliable car with insurance to make bank deposits and get supplies at stores if needed. Drug test, background/credit check will be required. We are currently COVID19 safe with a teller window in front as the office is closed to customers, and we allow one manager in the office at a time. We follow safety protocols if you must interact with clients, masks will be furnished and social distancing is practiced. An industry standard aptitude test will be administered to verify candidate’s qualifications.
