To the gentlemen that held the door at Circle K

This happened today just after 6:00 PM at the Circle on Litchfield and i10. After you had held the door open for me, we ended up waiting in line next to one another. We had some small talk until it was my turn to check out. As I was leaving I turned around to say, “have a good one.” However, you caught me off guard by asking if I could hold the door open for you as you were just getting to the cashier. I tried to mentally process a take-too-long playful joke. Failed at that, froze, gave a nervous laugh, said “no”, and proceeded to say, “have a good one.”... Listen.... I have facepalmed so hard since then! I was so caught off guard that I didn’t express myself properly, got nervous then had to exit ASAP. I wanted to apologize for possibly coming off as rude and tell you that it nice chatting with you. I hope that you see this so you know that the awkward reaction you received had nothing to do with you and everything to do with me getting incredibly thrown off just before I was about to speak after a very long (much like this post) day.
