Project Superintendent (URGENT)!!!! Tri-State General Contractors Job Description: Project Superintendent  Manage Day to day operations of His / Her Construction Site  Thoroughly review Plans and Specifications  Schedule and direct Sub-Contractors activities at His / Her specific site to insure a productive and safe work place for all employees, customers, vendors and operators.  Inspect and manage all materials and tradesman so that all facets of the project are constructed in compliance with the project plans & specifications.  Superintendent is in charge of all inspections / punch lists both from the local building officials, Fire Departments, Special Inspections and Owner walks. Super will call for and co-ordinate with respective trades all inspections for His / Her project and insure compliance.  Maintains project schedule and directs trades in accordance with the schedule.  Obtains final project final Inspections & certifications of occupancies and compliance.  Assists Project Manager with project financials. Tracks and manages GC costs. Manages owner and sub contractor’s requests for extra work.  Assists Project Manager to compile all close out documents. IE: As-builts, warrantee documentation & OEM Manuals.  Completes a daily log of construction activities and communications. Documents the weather, Safety concerns, material deliveries, rental equipment and documents how many tradesmen worked on the project and what work was completed that day.  Project Superintendents work under the direction of their respective Project Manager and under the overall supervision of the Companies President.  Superintendent must email into or call into Tri States Corporate office by 8:00 am each morning and give the location of the project and the job number of the project that he / she is working on.  Superintendent conducts an on-site Safety Meeting weekly. The topics should be in tune with the current phase of construction. IE: excavation & trench safety procedures while underground work is being conducted or Scaffold Safety just before scaffolding is erected.
