Volunteer as a Guide at the Umbrella Artfest Artfest: Imagine an almost month-long re-awakening of arts in Concord this spring: The Umbrella Artfest! Most events are outdoors, on the lawn at The Umbrella or installed town-wide, while stunning art auctions will be displayed in our spacious Gallery safely, by appointment. Think …. an origami-folded doves art installation, bird kite and windsock workshops, outdoors music, Umbrella artists’ Open Studios under a big tent, evening light show, original plays, a virtual Gala, an Artwalk in town parks, and more. Come volunteer and be a part of this spectacular community event. We adhere to the strictest safety and health guidelines. Volunteer with a friend. Send your friend’s full name and email. What: Volunteers will welcome registered guests at the Entrance and Exit of our Artfest area. For health and safety reasons we need to limit the number of guests in the outdoor area and tent. Volunteer guides will check registration and health forms to direct guests into the area. Volunteers will have a staff contact available. Assistants will help with health guidelines, and direct the flow of guests. We follow the strictest safety guidelines. Volunteers will work safely outdoors. When: • Saturday May 1 - 10 am – 5 pm • Sundays May 2 - 10 am – 5 pm • Saturday May 8 - 11 am – 4 pm • Sunday May 9 - 11 am –4 pm Choose a day Location: The Umbrella Arts Center 40 Stow Street, Concord MA - The Umbrella Arts Center outdoors Requirements: Good people skills, enjoy art, can work independently and follow directions, dependable, reliable and follow dress requirements, Be sure to send your available time slots.
