Alaska Steel Co. is seeking dependable applicants for warehouseman/driver. The position requires excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic in a small team environment. Duties include, but not limited to: -Operating independently while putting safety first -Pulling/processing customer orders -Interpreting written and verbal instruction -Perform basic math functions -Shipping and receiving stock -Operation of equipment such as overhead crane, forklift, bandsaw, etc -Properly filling out paperwork and maintaining material traceability Requirements: -Successful applicant must have a valid AK drivers license and be able to pass pre-employment drug screening -Able to work long hours on your feet and ability to lift up to 75 lbs Experience in the construction industry is a plus but not required.
