Ram Jack, the innovative leader in foundation repair and new construction steel pilings, is currently recruiting a Shop/equipment Manager Position for our Ram Jack Team. We are looking for a responsible, self-starter, hard-working individual to help manage the shop. The shifts and hours for this position vary and the successful candidate must be flexible and able to work this varied schedule. Day-to-Day Operations: • Manager daily loading/unloading operations • Mechanical skill in automotive and equipment is a plus • Communicate with crews regarding work assignments • Complete vehicle inspections and maintenance • Monitor equipment and vehicles for damages or issues and schedule repairs or replacements when necessary • Loading and unloading trucks (equipment, hoses, steel piles, etc.) • Cleans and organizes fleet vehicles • Keeps yard inventory neat and organized • Must be able to perform heavy lifting • Small tool repair • General welding • Drive work truck with a trailer attached at times (clean driving record required) • Ability to drive a forklift Physical Requirements and Work Environment The Shop Manager position will primarily be working in the shop in all-weather situations. Continuous bending, lifting, climbing, twisting, and kneeling will be required to perform the job daily. Required Experience: • Minor automotive and equipmentWillingness to learn and grow within the company • Organizational skills • Computer skills (including Microsoft Office programs) • Excellent note taker • Driving experience (Must have a valid driver's license) Payscale: $18-$25.00 per hour depending on experience and skills
