Job responsibilities begin with the following: • Check and record moving supply inventory on truck • Daily inspection on truck maintenance • Utilize moving dispatch application to start and complete assigned moving jobs for the day • Disassemble and reassemble furniture • Use moving pads and wrap to properly wrap furniture • Utilize moving equipment to safely move furniture out of home and on to moving truck and out of moving truck • Properly Load moving trucks in tiers • Monitor crew members to make sure job is getting done correctly and professionally • Insure that all moving equipment, pads and tools are returned to the truck after each job • Insure that truck and work spaces are kept clean • Calculate moving charges for customer using moving software and time clock Knowledge, skills and abilities: • Customer etiquette • Problem solving • Communication skills • Able to work well under pressure • Able to work well on a team • Able to lift 50 plus pounds • Able to squat and bend often and walk up and down stairs often Experience • 2 years of moving experience is recommended but not required
