Looking for a Bass player

We at The Monroe Church are looking for a bass player for our 2 weekly church services. First and foremost, the right person would be a Bible-believing Christian who wants to help the church reach and serve the community. Secondly, we’re looking for someone who can play by ear and play a variety of styles. We play many styles of Christian music ranging from Praise & Worship (e.g. People and Songs, Kari Jobe, Hillsong) to Contemporary Christian (e.g. Zack Williams, Newsboys) to Southern Gospel (e.g. The Crabb Family and The Gaither Vocal Band). We have a great band in place now – we have a great pianist/organist, lead guitarist, and two drummers (one plays each Sunday and the other plays each Tuesday). We would love for the right person to play both Sunday and Tuesday services; however, if you feel like you’d be a good fit and you can only play on Sunday mornings, reach out to me. If necessary, our worship leader can play bass on Tuesdays (although she’s prefer to only sing). This position is not a high-paying position, but we will more than cover your expenses. The Monroe Church is a member of the Congregational Holiness Churches. We are located at 1113 Highway 11, Monroe. Thank you for your interest.
