Howdy. My collaborator and I are seeking to round out our project with a sick rhythm section. We are currently recording a 6 song EP of new original material using Logic Pro. Must be interested in playing local Portland gigs to start, then festivals and touring, at least during the Summer months. Vocalist & guitarist (me) and my guitarist collaborator and hilarious bud (Ian) are seeking a synth player (or would happily take a bassist, if you have a gnarly effects pedal board to sound *alien*) to add low end to our songs. Also, a cerebral, creative drummer is wanted. We both think we don't really sound like any other band, but some of my favorites or what I might call influences for this project are Chelsea Wolfe, Radiohead, True Widow, Deftones, The Police, and Portishead. Ian has a huge basement where we can socially distance practice, and we're interested in doing that as soon as you materialize in our realm. You'd be writing your own parts, with input from us to achieve the genre / vibe we're going for, which I'd say is heavy, dark, dynamic, sensual. You will be PART OF this band, we are not looking for session musicians or hired guns. Must be stoked for community band vibes.
