Hi, My name is Brenda and I have a small licensed home daycare in El Cajon. I have 4 daughters (ages 26, 23,17, and 16) with Child Development Education. I am also CPR and first aid certified. --At "Brenda's Home Daycare" the focus is on learning and having fun in a loving home environment. We learn as we do lots of fun things like: -Activities and songs that teach ABC's, colors, shapes, numbers, sight words, days of the week, months of the year and etc. -Sensory play (colored rice, play dough, and water play in the summer) -Music & Movement with instruments -Outside play at the park. (We use our environment to work on physical skills like balancing, hopping, and etc.) - Arts & Crafts. In preparation for school we work on academics (Carol's curriculum) as well as social skills, following directions, cleaning up after ourselves, manners and etc. I'm a big believer in "teachable moment". Reasonable rates include nutritious meals & snacks. There is no Reg. fee. I provide written references and phone #'s of current and past children in my care.
