Aurora San Diego is currently seeking a Housekeeper! Summary: As a housekeeper for Aurora Behavioral Healthcare San Diego, you’ll ensure the maintenance of a clean, healthy, pleasant environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities: • Cleans floors in patient and non-patient areas • Removes trash and waste from designated areas of the facility • Removes and replaces soiled linens from designated patient areas • Maintains facility and furnishings in a clean and orderly fashion • Adheres to the organization's safety and security policies and procedures • Maintains documentation and records related to department operations Physical Requirements: • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand for a sustained period of time • Walk, pull, lift objects from a lower to higher position or horizontally from position to position, finger grasp; feel sizes, shapes, temperatures, and textures, perform repetitive motions of the wrist, hands, or fingers • Light work most of the time, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, 10 pounds of force frequently; and occasionally medium work, that is exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED • 1-2 years related experience (in a hospital setting preferred) • Must be able to communicate effectively Employee benefits include: • Health Insurance, Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance • 401K Retirement Plan • Healthcare Spending Account & Dependent Care Spending Account • PTO Plan with Holiday Premium Pay • Life Insurance (Supplemental Life, Term, and Universal plans are also available.) • Short and Long-Term Disability (with additional buy-in opportunities) • Tuition Reimbursement About Aurora San Diego...
