Heavy Psychedelic Rock Band w/ Adventurous Sound Seeking Drummer

Greetings! We're a tight band with a fresh sound, great songs and chemistry, and a great network supportive friends, fans, and bands. Our sound is a high energy, adventurous blend with elements of heavy progressive rock, psychedelic rock, alternative, grunge, and funk. Our drummer moved out of state, so we’re looking for the right person to move forward with. We're all team players, and we're fun and laid back, but we're also detail-oriented and committed to making the best music we can and to taking it as far as we can. We're looking for a family member and a collaborator, not a hired gun. We're looking for someone creative and expressive with chops, timing, gear, transpo, and a good vibe. You'll have lots of opportunity for creative input to help mold our sound and songwriting. We usually practice once a week in the SFV. We've been writing a bunch of material for our 2nd album. Our 1st album was a 6 song EP (Links below). We dig our older tunes and we still play them live sometimes, but we're most excited about new material and raising the bar, and we've got 7 really cool new songs that are fully written so far and a bunch of others in various stages of completion. We can provide song structure charts, time signature maps, music minus-drums versions, etc. to play along and to explore with. We're open to new ideas and interpretations in time, but we'll want you to spend the first few months learning and integrating the versions we are used to so that we can all be on the same page with the general feel and dynamics of the songs.
