Drummer and/or percussionist needed for upcoming small venue paid gigs

Hi SF/Berkeley-Oakland area or Marin area drummer-percussionists. If you would enjoy keeping the pocket (but interesting) beat with a music duo, and occasionally trio (plus you) on a very wide variety of songs from many genres in front of live audiences in actual venues soon, this is for you. We are two older large-venue-experienced expert and versatile real-instrument musician-vocalists who now choose to play the small local venues and parties we are booking where the folks paying us will appreciate the range and quality of songs we play. That range includes folk-rock, some jazz vocal standards, some driving blues-rock, plenty of “Americana”, some classic soul and R &B: but also world music and reggae, some 21st century pop-rock, some 80’s type pop-rock, some deep blues, and some contemporary modern bluesy rock. Plus some other roots things that are hard to classify by local song-writers. And we are known to jam out on top of the basic song structure, so you could also do some soloing, though that is not required. You will need either your small drum kit, or congas or similar for these more intimate gigs. We will be rehearsing occasionally either in Berkeley or your chosen local location. So if you would genuinely enjoy playing a wide variety of tunes in front of paying audiences with real musicians and have the chops to play in the pocket, but with enough finesse for smaller places, then call me (Art) at 415-seven one seven- six one zero nine.
