BDSI Beverage Destruction Service Incorporated Job Description: De-packaging Technician Candidate should be able to lift and carry 40 Pounds. Job requires manual dexterity to move and place objects as well as bending down to pick up objects from the floor. In addition candidate should be able to operate pallet jacks. Standing and walking for long periods on concrete floors in a warehouse environment with varied temperatures will be the normal daily work environment. The work requires the ability to sort and grade plastics, metals, glass and cardboard by color texture and markings. Candidate may be asked to load trucks in other locations to include placing tarps on loads and strapping loads for safe travel. All workers must wear safety shoes in the work place and may be required to wear hard hats, gloves and safety glasses. Workers are expected to arrive ready to work. All workers are expected to work as part of a team without disruption. Workers should have adequate hearing to hear forklift equipment movements and may be required to wear Eye protection.
