The City of Louisville is looking for a Facilities Maintenance HVAC Technician III to work as a lead with our Facilities Maintenance Team. This position will perform master/journey level work in the operation, maintenance and repair of systems in the City buildings. The position is required to operate, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment in partnership with other employees, departments and divisions. In addition this position acts as a lead worker and will be responsible for assigning work and using an asset management/work order system. General Qualifications: Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent. Four years experience working as an HVAC technician in a commercial, industrial or large facilities environment. Four years of experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry. One or more years of experience with substantial emphasis on controls, control theory, operation, calibration and commissioning. Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field preferred but not required. To see more details and to apply, please visit:
