Musicians Wanted for Indie/Garage-Rock/Punk Project

Hello! With the world starting to open up again, I'm looking to form a new band here in Syracuse. A bit about me: I'm a fully vaccinated male (he/him) singer/guitarist in my mid-20s. I've been playing guitar and in bands for ~12 years but nothing serious for the past couple years. As a rule I tend to like aggressive music that isn't afraid to embrace melodic/pop sensibilities. I have a small studio in the second bedroom of my apartment. It's not usable for loud full-band practices but I do have a Pro Tools rig that allows for guitar (through a Captor-X), bass, vocals, keys, and an electric drum kit running through BFD3. Some bands I like: Cloud Nothings, The Strokes, The Hives, Pile, The World Is..., American Football, Green Day, Descendents, Shellac, Nirvana, REM, Vampire Weekend What I'm Looking For: I'd like to find a second guitarist, bassist, and drummer. A keyboard player would also be cool as I love synth/keys but have never had the opportunity to incorporate them into any previous projects. I would love to have female musicians involved in this project as well if possible (especially if you sing!). Please live in/near Syracuse as I don't want travel to be a burden for band members. Ideally I'd like to have rehearsals 1-2 times a week. If you have a practice space available where noise isn't an issue that is a huge plus. While covers are super fun (especially when getting a feel for a new group of players) I want to focus on original music, recording, and playing out. In the not too distant future I'd like to start playing out of town as well. It's been far too long since I've been on tour and I would love an excuse to travel and play music again.
