Description of Duties: To safely perform landscape related activities; this includes but is not limited to mowing grass, pruning shrubs, edging, aerating, picking up trash, fertilizing, raking, shoveling, landscape/irrigation installation, irrigation repairs, and using a back-pack blower. Quality work, positive attitude, punctual habits, and excellent customer service is expected. · Properly use different types of hand tools (pruners, loppers, hand saw, rakes, shovels, etc.) · Properly operate all power equipment efficiently and safely · Properly trim and prune bushes and trees utilizing various types of hand tools · Utilize and follow proper mowing procedures and guidelines · Assist with landscape enhancement projects and sprinkler repairs · Perform landscape and snow removal tasks as assigned with quality assurance · Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. and occasionally load up to 100 lbs. · Utilize appropriate PPE for the task being performed · Safeguard all company assets · Be reliable and complete tasks with minimal supervision · Be neat & presentable and wear the required uniforms while at work · Always use good judgment · Required to perform all other duties as requested, directed, or assigned · Take direction and work as a team player Environmental Requirements: Work under adverse weather conditions, including extreme hot and cold and various humidity or moisture levels.
