Doghouse Girls Pet Care is a dog training + dog walking company in Baltimore City, Maryland. We are looking for a hardworking individual to join our team as a part-time employee. Responsibilities & Requirements The Dog Training Assistant will assist with handling dogs, walking dogs, training dogs and reinforcing learned behavior under the supervision of the head trainer. Strong communication skills are required, as instructing clients is a major part of this position. This position also includes cleaning and office work such as replying to emails. Candidate must: Be at least 21 years of age Have a valid drivers license Have a high school diploma Basic typing and computer skills Be able to walk, bend, and stand for multiple hours each day Be able to lift 50 pounds Have basic knowledge of dogs and dog body language Be teachable and eager to learn Be able to work as part of team Have an eye for details Veterinary or kennel experience is a plus About the Position This is a part-time position paying $12 per hour. Schedule varies week-to week. Must be available to work Tuesday-Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and Saturdays 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
