Sign Installer / Technician

We are looking for a hard worker for a sign installer / technician position. Initially, you will assist one of our senior technicians and learn the trade. We are looking for someone who can move into a lead technician role rather quickly. This position requires at least some basic electrical background and understanding of wiring (or the ability to pick it up quickly). Mechanical skills are required and the ability to weld is a plus. You must be comfortable operating and working at heights from aerial platforms (bucket trucks). Must have valid drivers license and be a competent and safe driver. Overtime is required. Most work weeks are 50+ hours. We start at 7:00. Being on time and showing up for work every day is required. 1) Mechanical aptitude -- experience with wide array of power and hand tools 2) Good basic math skills 3) Must have reasonably professional appearance and communication skills as the position requires dealing with our customers 4) Must not have a fear of heights 5) Must have valid drivers license 6) Self-motivated worker that does require extensive management/oversight 7) Quality focused and able to adhere to schedules and meet deadlines 8) Flexibility to work long hours and weekends when needed (this does not occur frequent but does occur occasionally) and overnight travel (some will be required for larger installation efforts)
