Maintenance Technician: McCallum's Pool Service is a growing pool service company in the North/Central Phoenix/Scottsdale area looking for a pool maintenance technician. Potential candidate will be: Trustworthy, honest, personable, reliable, and someone who pays attention to small detail. They will have a good attitude, and integrity and possess good communication skills. Dedicated with good organizational skills and a strong mechanical aptitude. Being an early riser will be a plus. A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education Qualifications: 1- Year Customer Service Experience Pool Service Experience (Recommended not Required) we will train the right person Possess the physical ability work in the extreme heat for extended periods of time. Capable to lift 75+ pounds Repetitive bending, squatting, twisting & standing for extended periods of Time High School Diploma or Equivalent Valid Driver License – CLEAN MVR (No DUI’s, Suspensions, or Excessive Tickets) Job incentives: Tuesday – Friday workweek Eligible for Paid Vacation (PTO) after Probational Period Holidays Off (New Year’s, July 4th, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas) Company truck and tools provided for daily service routes Job Type: Full-time: $40,000 to $50,000 Job Responsibilities: Brushing Waterline Tile, Walls, Steps & Bench’s Skim/brush & remove all debris from the pool Vacuum pools (As Needed) Empty all baskets of debris (Pump, Skimmer, Leaf Traps, Canisters) Back Wash Filters (Sand & DE) Test & Balance Water Chemistry at Each Body of water as needed (Pool, Spa, Fountains, Etc.) Pool cleaner repair and maintenance Log chemical readings and adjustments Communicate with customers as well as other company personnel Arrive to the office each scheduled morning in a timely fashion.
