Summary Supervises and coordinates packaging operations to ensure quality and efficiency. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Other duties may be assigned. -Maintain consistent excellent quality of packaged goods through attention to detail along with constant checks with packaging, labeling, brand presentation and assurance checks throughout the packaging department -Monitor, assign, direct, and guide packaging employees and ensure proper Quality Control checks are being performed -Evaluate performance of the operation and make improvements to procedures or work practices to elevate the quality of the packaged products -Assist in planning and execution of required packaging with Production Manager to plan packaging schedules efficiently -Perform and engage in performance and developmental reviews for packaging staff -Maintain clean, sanitary and safe packaging operations -Provide assistance with the training and development of SOPs -Maintain and verify inventory of packaging supplies -Complete and submit all required accurate written reports -Work with packaging staff to meet and maintain strict quotas -Maintain logs and labor hours for the day to ensure production standards are met by employees -Maintain a steady flow of Production while keeping the team consistent and on task -Assist the Production Manager and Inventory team as needed, to maintain high-quality standards. -Participate in the daily team cleaning of the production packaging floor -Meet daily, weekly and monthly team and personal quota goals -Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company -Makes recommendations to management regarding personnel evaluation and training of the packaging team -Ensure a safe working environment. Review and communicate daily on all safety related topics of discussion. Qualifications -To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Associate's degree preferred At least 3 years of directly related experience and/or training in a manufacturing or packaging environment, preferably food or beverage packaging; or equivalent combination of education and experience -Must have at least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience -Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency preferably in a fast-paced work environment Must have strong attention to detail. -Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written -Ability to pass Criminal Background Check and obtain a Dispensary Agent Registration Card -Ability to occasionally travel to other Wyld locations, events, expos, supplier evaluations, and fellow manufacturing facilities -State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older Compensation As an exempt employee, you'll receive a competitive hourly rate, PTO and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance.
