This part of the business seem to be filled with unreliable construction guys. Let's answer a few questions upfront. First you get nothing upfront because I know you won't actually ever show up. I am willing to give money based on what you finish but I will hold final funds until the job is complete. I will pay for all materials so no I won't pay your mark up fees on materials, or let you go to Home Depot - I will get what you need for you. I need a quote based on ALL the work it is NOT acceptable to add change orders on things that are obvious just because you didn't put it in your quote (Example adding faceplates to light switches and doorknobs on doors THAT IS OBVIOUS). No smoking, drinking, doing drugs or sleeping in the jobsite because you are homeless. Here is the basic job - and yes you can see the jobsite if you are serious. It is a 2,000 sq ft commercial space on the first floor of a residential building. It will need demo, the ceiling needs to be framed. the entire space needs drywall, that means hanging, taping, mudd and sand ready for painting. The electric has been done but we need baseboard boxes built, fixtures installed in ceiling - lines needed for that. It has been started as 4 office spaces so we need it completed that way. Doors need to be installed all trim and baseboards installed. Painted, floors are uneven so they need plywood, then flooring installed we are probably going with LVT. Do not even try to contact me if you are in another job and can't get to it for 3-4 months. This job should only take 2-3 weeks with the right crew. If you charge $60-80 per board to hang, tape and mudd - I am not paying that. I know what this entails. Only contact me if you read this entire post
