Our company is 45 years strong, located in Largo, FL. Providing water treatment for apartment communities throughout the southeastern states, we are looking for a 1099 contract employee to take over a remote route in Jacksonville. This is a long term contract, not expected to expire. Routes will normally take 5-6 hrs every two weeks, the 14 day cycle is a vital part of these routes and must be consistent (the day of route can be negotiated). Duties include recharging water treatment systems in the Jacksonville area, lite repair and troubleshooting as necessary. Compound is supplied by company, but buckets will need to be stored by technician (shipped via freight truck). Current route is performed every 14 days on a Saturday, route is currently five communities and takes our current technician about 5 hours to complete. We offer very competitive pay. Technician would utilize their own (reliable) vehicle and basic hand tools, a small pickup is ideal. Lite plumbing and electrical experience is a plus. The systems use a small 115v metering pump and p.m. repairs are performed on these routinely, so mechanically inclined individual is a requirement. Pay is bases on number of properties/systems on the route, the current route has been consistent for 24 months and calculates to about $500/mo (over $40/hr).
