We have two roosters that showed up in our yard. We live in a residential area and have a six foot fence so no idea how they got here. We have looked for potential owners and have found none. They are basic looking red roosters with fuzzy feet and blue green feathers on tail. We live in an actual neighborhood and have built them a temporary structure to protect them from our dog, but we are not allowed to have roosters so they need to go. We have looked for owners for two weeks.
They are BOTH learning how to crow, and the noises are terrifying the neighborhood kids. They sound like a pack of chupacabras.
They are pretty friendly. I pet them and carry them around. They also follow me.
So if you want two handsome roosters for free, please let me know. Otherwise I guess I have to take these boys to animal control in my Nissan Sentra.
Also I would really like it if they don’t get eaten. They are pretty cool and in our two short weeks together, they have developed their own personalities.
