In addition to storing incoming materials, you will be responsible for correctly fulfilling customer orders by collecting items from the warehouse. You will then be responsible for packaging items in cartons, wooden crates, and pallets.
Knowledge of basic hand tools is important to properly package goods for shipment. You will be trained to use tools such as a hoist and sling for lifting heavy objects, vertical band saw to trim wooden inserts to fit, hammers, screw gun, metal banding tools, tape guns, and tape machine.
You will also be loading, receiving and unloading incoming freight with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. You must be physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs.
It is important that you speak, understand, and can write clearly in English. You should have a complete understanding of, and experience working with computers including email, FEDEX, and UPS.
