Description

This is an apprenticeship position, the candidate will be mentored to determine what skill sets the candidate has and excels at to suit them to a particular position. Those positions could/can be 1. Machine Operator – CNC controller cutting, boring, edging, grooving parts and pieces in correct positions and sequence without hurting themselves or damaging the equipment. 2. Machine Maintenance - Cleaning/oiling, calibrating, checking for worn parts and preventive maintenance. 3. Installer – Field work, delivering, installing cabinets and countertop. 4. Assembler – Assembling cabinets, hardware, drawers, doors, and finishing. Requirements 1. Fluent in English 2. Math skills equivalent to H.S. level 3. Basic set of hand tools A. Tape Measure D. Wrenches B. Hammer E. Chisel C. Screw Drivers F. Razor Knife 4. Forward thinking, conscious with the ability to anticipate the next action. 5. Work shoes, no loose clothing 6. Ability to lift 70 lbs. 7. Driver’s License 8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 9. Read and interpret blueprints.
